Final Day With Hoya ciliata

While it was a painful process in bringing Hoya ciliata to flower, I very happy that I had the opportunity to do it. I believe it was fortunate that the one Eriostemma Section Hoya I had the opportunity to work with was endemic to a relatively high altitude location, which it allowed it to survive in my cool temperatures. I now believe that it could have been bloomed from a cutting in under 2 years time if it is exposed to high light intensity. This is a plant that I can recommend to anyone that really wants to flower an Eriostemma, and have conditions similar to mine. It is a plant that takes up a lot of real estate, but makes for a very handsome indoor plant even if it never flowers.
