I had almost forgotten about Hoya sp. EPC-319 also known as the mini-wayetii. While I flowered it some time ago I neglected to add it to this site. It is appropriate that I was reminded of this plant from a customer of mine who received it as a freebie from me, as that is how I received it. I got it as a free cutting from Ric Morier from an eBay purchase that I made from him back in 2017. It was an easy cutting to root and took off and grew well right from the beginning.
It took about a year of strong growing for the plant to form its first peduncle and bud up. The buds opened without much fuss, and soon I had many peduncles and the flowers smell of caramel. During the summer of 2019 I took at least 2 dozen cuttings from the plant to include as bonuses with people who purchased cuttings from me. If you can find this little Hoya, you will absolutely fall in love with the cute little leaves on this one; the butterscotch scented blooms are just a bonus. It is highly recommended!
