A Couple of Thoughts On Hoya aff. Bella PES-03

I’ve grown, or should say struggled with this particular Hoya now for a decade, having acquired it in 2015. Quite frankly, I’m quite surprised that I still have it. I threw out a pretty nice specimen this past winter growing in a tent, because I got sick of picking up constant yellowed dropped leaves. I kept one upstairs in a window, and almost threw that one out as well because of the same irritating trait. I’ve come to the conclusion that this plant needs a much higher degree of warmth than I had previously thought. This summer it seems to have come alive with a decent floral display and no more leaf drop, but I know from experience the malady will be back come cooler weather. Now I’m glad that I hung on to it!
