Hoya kanyakumariana is such a sweet little plant, and its flowers are among the most delicate of all the Hoya flowers.
Hoya cutis-porcelana Never Stops Flowering!
It took me a while to get this plant going strongly, but now it just won’t stop flowering. This is the first time that I have had 11 flowers on a single peduncle.
Hoya ruthiae Seed Explosion
These two seedpods must have had a terrific explosion to create this kind of seed mess. Usually there is not nearly this much force when a pod ruptures, but this time there was seed literally everywhere! By the way the total seed count was 136.
Hoya sp. Haruku GPS 3759 Flowers Again
This plant looked pretty peaked for a while but is now growing insanely well after I started watering with tap water. This is a fantastic species when growing well!
Hoya darwinii Meets Hoya undulata
I’m only taking this photo for posterity; it will probably never happen again that I get too of the hardest Hoya to flower at the same time.
Hoya darwinii Flowers Again!!
Hoya darwinii is an ungodly hard plant to grow, and after a couple of years I managed to flower it again. This is the first time that I have been able to take it from a cutting to mature flowering plant. The overall specimen is not that pretty, but for me it is not too bad.
Hoya undulata Meets Hoya macgillivrayi
I always wanted to see these two together and now I have!
Sadly I Let The Hoya Undulata Get Too Dry
Hoya undulata is so tricky; if you let the media get too wet it will drop its buds and if you let it get too dry in will do the same. At least it hung on to two flowers after I gave it a drink. It is not very often that I let something get too dry, as I am a chronic over waterer!
I Love This Pairing So Much That I Just Want To See It Again
I hope that I can keep the tricky Hoya amicabilis going, because you just don’t get this kind of bright yellow on any other Hoya flower.
Hoya amicabilis Meets Hoya sp. aff Bella PES-03
Here is a pairing that you do not see every day!
