Just the Flowers Ma’am! Hoya golamcoana

For those of you still keeping track, here is my 124th YouTube video.  It’s called Just the Flowers Ma’am! Hoya golamcoana, and has a great Latin beat.  I hope you enjoy what I believe to be the world’s first time-lapse video of the blooms opening on Hoya golamcoana.

A Visit with Hoya citrina

From my unpublished archives: A Visit with Hoya citrina.  This is a video that I shot in 2012 that should give you a good idea of what this plant’s growth habits are all about.  It is a plant that I no longer keep, but it might be a good candidate for someone in the tropics.  I did get it to flower a few times, but it never really liked me all that much.

A Visit with Hoya chinghungensis and a Personal Goal Achieved!

Two days ago I achieved a goal now that I have had for almost three years and that goal was to get 100,000 views of my mostly Hoya YouTube Channel.  I want to thank everyone who has taken time out of their valuable days to watch a few of my little films.  I hope that I have brought a few smiles and maybe even shown a few of you something new about growing these wonderful plants.

Here is my latest video of a great little Hoya, which has now doubled in size since I made the film six months ago.

Just the Flowers Ma’am! Hoya buotii

Here is my newest time-lapse video: Just the Flowers Ma’am! Hoya buotii.  I think that it is one of the top 10 that I have made to date.  Unfortunately, YouTube thinks that the music matches third party content even though I took it from a royalty free site.  All it means is that you will have to delete the ad that appears on the video to fully enjoy it.  Without further ado –

From the Vaults Another Video Tour

I have several buds currently on my H. griffithii, but it will not even be close to the floral display I had last summer with this plant.  So for your enjoyment I have pulled A Visit with Hoya griffithii from the vaults and put it up on YouTube.

Just the Flowers Ma’am! Hoya finlaysonii

Here is my most recent time-lapse video that shows the flowers opening on H. finlaysonii in High Def.   If you look closely, you will see a house fly and a couple of other insects land on the flowers during the filming.  It is all done to a very peaceful classical music piece.  I hope you enjoy!
