It was a little over two years ago that I was completely surprised to find seed pods on my very tiny Hoya manipurensis plant. Lightning has now struck twice, and I now count five separate pods forming. I have never heard of this elsewhere. One of the last seedlings that I grew out turned out to be far genetically superior to its mother. It was stronger, and better branching. This is now the plant with all of the pods.
