Hoya platycaulis Continues To Astound

I think that Hoya platycaulis is one of those Hoyas that is particularly difficult to grow when very young and gets progressively easier as it gets older. It is a bear to root and exceptionally difficult to get started, but after an extensive root system is formed the new leaves darken up and it does better with each passing month. It is an easy one to give up on, but stick with it, and in time it may reward you like this:
