Differences Between Seeds and Cuttings

With a cutting you always know that you are getting an exact clone of the parent plant.  With seeds there can be slight genetic differences that could be good or bad.  Here is an example of two Hoya lockii plants that were identical when planted from seed, and grown exactly the same way.  One is supercharged and growing beyond expectations and one is stunted and growing very strangely and should probably be discarded.
