The one last thing that I want to mention about Hoya polyneura this year is to watch carefully for hidden buds and flowers. I have never grown a Hoya that is so well adapted for hiding its flowers. It is very possible that some of you have flowered this plant and never even realized it. I had been watching this one looking for buds on an almost daily basis up until about a month ago, when I finally gave up. I even put this plant into the shower and checked it last week and never saw the buds. I just happened to see the reflection of these flowers in the window when I passed by and almost missed seeing them at all.
