Growing Hoya polyneura

Many people argue for washing off all of the soil that comes with the Exotic Angel basket, of Hoya polyneura because the soil is too heavy.  I can’t really argue with that philosophy.  The soil is very dense that comes with the plant, but you can successfully grow the plant in the existing soil if you remember to let the root ball thoroughly dry out before watering.  I was simply too lazy to go to all that work so I left it alone.  It will grow and flower for you this way as I have done it twice now – just remember to let it dry out and fertilize well.  Hoya polyneura will begin to develop buds in response to dropping night time temperatures and the shortening days of fall.
