My History with Hoya polyneura Part One

I received my first Fish Tail Hoya way back in 2009.  It was a small plant that I quickly killed as I was new to Hoyas and knew very little about the plant.  In 2010, I found a nice specimen in my local Home Depot and brought it home where it did OK – not exactly thriving, but it held its own.  In the fall of 2011 it flowered for me on several peduncles but as the central heating kicked in the plant began to lose its leaves and it rapidly went downhill.  I finally threw the plant out as I figured I had flowered it, why did I still need it.
