Yet another first timer for me; Hoya mitrata is a very difficult Hoya to grow let alone flower.  I am quite surprised at the size of these buds, which are approaching the size of a penny.  There are only three buds on this peduncle, but I have another peduncle growing that has many more- Fingers crossed that they hold on and don’t blast, but for now I think I am safe in saying that I will not lose these three, before the flowers open.
