If you are looking for a Hoya that flowers early, look no further than Hoya sp. EPC-620.  It went from cutting to flower in less than six months, and I think it could be done far more quickly.  I got off to a bad start with mine growing it in semi-hydro, which was far too wet for this species.  It must be grown far drier, just like its near relative H. pachyclada.
