Many of the photos that you see on the internet of Hoya ilagiorum are almost candy-apple red.  While the blooms seem to vary in intensity from peduncle to peduncle, I have seen none that are candy-apple red.  All you need do is turn up the shadow setting just a hair in Picasa and voila here is what you get.  Great photo, but a little unrealistic.  I will say though, Hoya ilagiorum is one of the nicest and most different Hoya blooms to be found that is easy to grow.
