I’m very excited about these forthcoming blooms on Hoya buotii!  Prior to these buds, the plant had only bloomed one time for me in the greenhouse.  It has had tons of peduncles without budding up all summer long in the house.  I then tried T-5 lighting with no success.  It finally achieved bud stage after using a small 150 watt HPS grow light.

This is my first foray into HID lighting, and I am hopeful that this is the beginning of achieving blooms on some of these reluctant bloomers.  Much more on these new lights in the future.
