I really hated to do it, and I know that some people would give their eye teeth for imperialis blooms, but I could no longer deal with the mess.  These flowers were dripping nectar on everything – the window glass, and sills, the floor, all over itself and the neighboring plants.  If this plant were outside, no problem, but in the house it would draw Ants at the very least.  I cut all the blooms and remaining buds off from the plant and put them in this bowl.  Here is that photo and one of a leaf covered in sticky nectar.
