It does not matter that Hoya megalaster has flowered here, but what is important is that it has finally put on four new leaves!. This is a plant that will literally flower itself to death, but never put on new vegetative growth. So it looks like I have been granted a reprieve from losing the plant. Another thing I should say about H. megalaster is that in requires very warm temperatures and copious amounts of humidity in order to thrive. It is in a tent with an HPS bulb, which sends temps into the 90s F, and it loves it! The HPS (High Pressure Sodium) bulb is responsible for the poor quality of the photo below.
