When I moved these two plants together to take the photo I noticed that even though Hoya lockii was flowering away on two peduncles, the leaves were yellowing.  I popped it out of its pot and noticed considerable root rot.  I have now taken a number of cuttings, and we will hope that most of them make it.  I guess I spoke too soon about how easy I thought this plant was to take care of!
