Both of these are flowering right now so here you are:
Hoya soligamiana Meets Hoya pachyclada Today
I don’t think that I have paired these two together before today. I think that they make a nice looking couple!
Happy Valentines Day!
In honor of Valentines Day, here is a very colorful Hoya obscura happily doing its thing in my basement grow tent.
Hoya inflata Surprisingly Flowers With Only Four Leaves!
I was pretty surprised when my miserable Hoya inflata plant with only 4 leaves budded up and flowered. I can’t figure out how to grow this one as I have now struggled with it for years.
Hoya vangviengiensis Buds Are Getting Larger!
If I get lucky enough to flower this one, I will be ecstatic as there have been very few flowerings of this plant in cultivation.
Hoya lyi Buds Are Getting Ready To Open!
It won’t be long now before I can add another first-time-bloomer to my check list. I predict that these will open very soon, and I will talk extensively about this species in the coming days.
Hoya pachyclada and Hoya paulshirleyi Seedling Comparison
It looks like the Hoya paulshirleyi seedling will flower a lot as I am already on my 3rd set of blooms on this one.
Hoya pachyclada and Hoya ilagiorum Flower Comparison Photos
Here are my first comparison photos of these species together – I think, but after 3,700 daily posts here, it is hard to be sure!
Hoya pachyclada Has Flowered!
Hoya pachyclada has flowered for me for the first time in quite awhile. I came close to losing this plant after having a very respectable specimen at one time. The moral of the story is to never take your plants for granted as they can go downhill in a hurry if you brag on them too much!
Hoya ilagiorum, The White Bella, and Hoya mirabilis Clone B
I really like this photo showing all of the flowers together. This is not photoshopped in any way, what you see is me scrunching all of these plants together so that I can take this photo, and it is not easy let me tell you!
