Just the Flowers Ma’am! Hoya waymaniae
Here is what I believe to be the world’s first time-lapse video of the flowers opening on Hoya waymaniae. If it is not the world’s first, than I can guarantee that it is Vermont’s first! I hope that you enjoy this peek into the secret life of a flower!

A Visit with Hoya waymaniae
Here is my 134th YouTube video entitled A Visit with Hoya waymaniae. In the video I say that I received this cutting directly from David Liddle two, or two and a half years ago, and meant to say the Liddle Nursery. Sadly David passed a couple of years before I obtained the specimen, but his wife Iris continues the tradition of selling cuttings.
Just the Flowers Ma’am! Hoya engleriana
Here is a 50 second time-lapse of the flowers opening on Hoya engleriana. This was one of the toughest videos that I ever made. The flowers just didn’t want to open under 24/7 lighting and also kept turning away from the camera. I ended up taking, get ready for this, 7,500 photographs of which I only used around 150 to make the film. This video is dedicated to Julie Kennedy for giving me the plant.
A Visit with Hoya caudata
Here is my newest Hoya tour video of the fascinating Hoya caudata. I was afraid of this getting this Hoya for fear that it was a difficult plant to grow. Nothing could be further from the truth.
Blooms in Motion: Hoya cv. kaimuki
This video shows how even the best laid plans sometimes don’t work out. I wanted so much more out of this time-lapse – Next time!
Just the Flowers Ma’am! Hoya memoria

Just the Flowers Ma’am! Hoya retusa
Here is what I believe to be the world’s first time-lapse of two Hoya retusa blooms opening. The flowers are small so it was no easy task to pull off. The video is very short with a catchy polka tune. I hope you enjoy!
