Hoya graveolens is one of the most photogenic Hoya flowers that I have seen in some time.  These flowers look so amazing in photographs primarily because of the fine hairs on the surface of the corolla, which absorb light rather than reflect it back like a mirror.  In short, shiny objects are difficult to photograph well!
