Happy September 1st everyone!  Hoya wightii will flower for its third and final year with me.  Below tiny buds can be seen emerging.  Unfortunately, this will be the final year with this plant.  It makes an incredibly poor specimen to keep indoors as a houseplant.  I have tried everything, and it loses around a third of its leaves when brought inside for the year and I can no longer tolerate cleaning up this huge mess.  This plant seems to only be happy outside, so we will celebrate it one last time when it flowers in about a month.
