Unfortunately almost everything has a downside, and with Hoya mirabilis it is the nectar. It drips constantly and copiously on everything creating a huge mess. It is not a thick syrup like the nectar from H. kerrii, but watery and sweet. It creates sooty mold when left on the leaves and anything else it touches. This is a plant that begs to be kept outside! The bottom photo shows that I was forced to cut off all of the flowers after its photo shoot:(
