Back when I kept this plant in grow-rooms and greenhouses it grew at a terrific pace.  Now that I just keep it on a windowsill in regular household conditions, it does not grow much at all.  It is still probably one of the largest potted plants of its kind to be found anywhere, but it only flowers now a few times and puts on a few leaves  during a very brief few weeks in the summer.  Here is a photo of the flowers I snapped yesterday.
