In the interests of trying to make a little money to defray my large electricity bill, I am going to attempt to propagate H. spartioides.  I have taken three cuttings, dipped them in Clonex Gel, inserted them into media moistened with KLH, and put them into a covered tray, which sits on a heat mat.  I shall report back with additional photos if I am successful.  Here is a picture of where I made the cut for the first cutting taken:
