Hoya hypolasia is in Bud and I am very excited about it. This plant has been a holy grail of mine to bring into flower, and I may finally be on track to do just that. This plant will not bud up under T5 fluorescent lighting, or shady outside conditions. It finally took powerful LED lighting for me to pull this off. The disadvantage of this lighting is that it is impossible to get good photos of the plant while using them. Here are a couple. The first shows the buds using focal black and white to try to take out the red tinge. The second shows the entire plant under the lighting. If the plant flowers, I will remove the plant and photograph it properly.
