I took this picture at my work place yesterday. It is a photo of Hoya pubicalyx ‘Royal Hawaiian Purple.’ I took the photo because this plant bloomed at a time when it really should not have. The humidity is like the Saharan Desert in my work space hovering around 20%, and there is less than eight hours of daylight. Although this is a common Hoya, there is nothing common about its beautiful bloom display especially at this time of year!
