Last year Hoya pauciflora put on an incredible display of flowers living in my cool, humid, basement grow tent. This year there was no room for grow tent living so it had to live in my dining room with no special care. I was amazed to discover recently that it had produced a bud in the relatively dry house conditions. It has also thrived in the low light conditions of the window in which it resides. There is a large overhang, which kills most of the sun so it receives no more than an hour of sun each day, when the sun decides to shine, which in Vermont is not that often. Here is the bud from a photo taken yesterday.
