If you give your plants a shower, you will be happier, and your plants will be happier!  It has been bothering me for a while that I have been unable to figure out a way to wash a years worth of dust and sticky nectar droplets off from my work Hoyas.  The opportunity finally arose when our custodian had the hose out this morning.  I borrowed it, and washed all of these plants off.  You could almost hear them singing out their gratitude.  Here is a photo of the newly cleaned plants:
