Here is a photo that I just took of a much stronger set of blooms from elliptica than I posted a few days ago. This plant is a blooming machine. In the year and three quarters that I have owned the plant it has produced hundreds of flowers. There are currently five peduncles on the plant in various stages of bud development. Despite its reputation as a difficult plant, I have found it to be one of the easiest to grow, and it blooms almost continually. I believe the biggest key to success with Hoya elliptica is high humidity.
