The first time I bloomed Hoya pubicalyx ‘Black Dragon’ it was under grow lights and was slightly disapointed that it did not bloom darker.  Well now I have bloomed it outside in the greenhouse and it bloomed even lighter than before.  I would be interested if anyone blooms this plant in full sunshine if it would indeed bloom “Black.”  Still a nice plant however, and my understanding is that it is in the process of being renamed.  These photos were taken last night and this morning with a point and shoot.
