I continue to grapple with some really bad weather here. The rain held off just long enough for me to at least build my new benches. It is funny; there is a learning curve to everything. After using a greenhouse now for a few summers, I finally figured out the ideal bench for Hoyas. The top shelf is much narrower to allow for tall plants to go on the bottom shelf in the front. It also allows for large hanging plants to hang way down if a smaller hoya is kept on the bottom shelf. It took about five hours and around $140.00 to build these cedar benches. I’m still hoping for a Saturday liftoff for building the greenhouse!
