Here are photos of two developing peduncles that I am truly excited about.  The first is from Hoya Pubicalyx Nigrum ‘Black Dragon’ GKMP-8008B from Forest Treasures in the Philippines.  We shall soon know if this pubicalyx really blooms almost black!  The next photo is from Hoya meliflua ssp. Fraterna.  I have had this Hoya for over four years and it finally will bloom!  Known for its difficulty to bring into bloom, I feel particularly blessed by its appearance.
