One thing that you can never say about Hoya sp. IML-557 is that it is floriferous. This plant has not flowered for me in seven years. Part of that is my fault as I’ve only kept it in the regular house the past few years, but it still should have bloomed, or at least produced a peduncle in all of that time.
Today is the last day with Hoya sp. EPC-610 aff. acuta. Below are the flowers beginning to close up after about five days. This is a great Hoya if you can find it, almost pure white blooms, beautiful scent, and great foliage – what’s not to love? I also want to wish my sister Denise in Florida a very happy birthday today.
Hoya archboldiana and Hoya ‘Kaimuki’ happened to be flowering at the same time. Hoya ‘Kaimuki’ on top and H. archboldiana on the bottom.

I flowered Hoya sp. EPC-610 aff. acuta in May of 2017 and August 2018. It cannot be considered a prolific bloomer, or quick grower, but I think the results are worth the effort.
Other than having an Epiphytica accession number, I have no information on this plant.

As with most Hoyas with these similar flowers, Hoya sp. EPC-610 aff. acuta has an outstanding fragrance, which I wish I could reproduce here for you.
Hoya sp. EPC-610 aff. acuta was an exceptionally slow grower, but in about a year it produced a peduncle which produced flowers within a couple of months.
I received Hoya sp. EPC-610 aff. acuta as a cutting from a fellow enthusiast from North Carolina in the Summer of 2016. It had these gorgeous succulent, very thick leaves.
