Hoya pandurata is one of those wonderful Hoyas that bloomed right in the rooting chamber. My rooting chamber consists of a cutting placed in hydroton, or GrowStones inside of a plastic bag. My good friend Julie Kennedy from the UK sent me the cutting with a peduncle with small buds attached, which open even before the plant was fully rooted!
Hoya pandurata is a native of China where it reportedly likes cooler temperatures. It is supposed to be endangered in its native habitat. It seems to grow very much like H. lobbii, except that it has clear yellow flowers. All and all I love the plant and will report back when I have more experience with it.
