A great Hoya and a must have for any houseplant enthusiast – if only for the wonderful perfumed scent of the flowers alone! They can transform any room into a sweet smelling paradise. This plant will suffer considerably in the dry environment of northern centrally heated homes in the winter. If you want this plant to be happy in the winter, and you live in my climate, grow it under lights in a grow room with lots of humidity. It will then flower for you all year. There are many cultivars of this plant now, and it is almost always available in some form at the big box stores. I am still am partial to the original green, but that is just me – they should all perform pretty much the same for you.
