I have found this Hoya to be a very fast grower, but a very difficult bloomer. In Vermont, it needs at least some sun to bloom. The flowers are fragrant. I have kept this plant for at least eight years, and it is not because of the blooms, since I have only had them one time. I keep it because it is a great quick growing foliage plant with a nice clean look. It is very care free with no special requirements. It can tolerate low humidity, and sun or shade. A good plant for a beginner!
