I have two 6×8 Sunshine Greenhouses that I am no longer using for growing Hoyas outside in the summer time. There are two big changes that have made me make the change. One; we now have a ducted heat pump which cools the entire house so that the plant lights no longer make the house heat up excessively. Two; we took down a huge Maple tree that shaded the back of the house so that in the summer there was not enough light coming through the windows to sustain plants. With the tree removed, I can grow plants in the window year around. For those reasons, and the limited benefits, and excessive work involved in moving those plants outside for just a few months, it became no longer worth the effort. I did hang a few Hoyas outside on hooks just because of lack of indoor space, but they did not do all that well and will probably be disposed of in a short while.
